LIVERPOOL MUSICHERITAGE TRAIL

The Liverpool Music Heritage Trail is a major cultural project celebrating Liverpool’s world-famous music scene through a self-guided walking route across 12 iconic locations in the city. I designed the full artwork and visual identity for the trail, creating a series of bespoke vinyl-inspired plaques and graphics that capture the spirit of Liverpool’s rich musical heritage. The design system was created to feel instantly recognisable, visually engaging and rooted in the city’s cultural identity, while also working across both physical installations and digital platforms. From legendary music venues and historic record shops to underground clubs and famous performance spaces, each artwork reflects Liverpool’s lasting influence on music history and music tourism.

The trail celebrates the city’s connection to globally recognised artists including The Beatles, while also shining a light on the wider musical culture that has shaped Liverpool’s reputation as a UNESCO City of Music. This project combines heritage, tourism, branding and environmental graphic design, highlighting my experience in creating public artwork, placemaking and visual identities for cultural destinations.
